  • For serious violations (child safety, severe harassment, threats, etc.), we may act much faster
  • We may:
    • Remove or hide content
    • Limit features for a user (e.g., posting restrictions)
    • Temporarily suspend or permanently ban accounts
    • Preserve logs and evidence for legal purposes
    • Report illegal content or behavior to relevant authorities when required

We do not monitor all private messages in real time, but we may review content that is reported to us or required for safety and legal compliance.

Reporting

If you see content or behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it.

You are never penalized for making a good-faith report.

How to Report

  • Use in-app reporting options where available (for messages, profiles, posts, events, and listings)
  • Or email us at [email protected] with details and screenshots if needed

What Happens After You Report

  1. We review the report (usually within 4–24 hours, always aiming to act within 24 hours)
  2. We investigate and evaluate the content or account
  3. We take appropriate action (warning, restriction, suspension, or permanent ban)
  4. We may notify you that action was taken, where permitted

All reports are handled confidentially. The reported user will not be told who reported them.

Enforcement and Consequences

We apply these rules fairly and consistently.

Minor Violations (e.g., mild spam, off-topic posts)

  • 1st: Warning
  • 2nd: Temporary suspension (e.g., 7 days)
  • 3rd: Longer suspension (e.g., 30 days)
  • 4th: Permanent ban

Moderate Violations (e.g., harassment, marketplace abuse)

  • 1st: Suspension (e.g., 7–30 days)
  • 2nd: Permanent ban

Serious Violations (e.g., sexual content, child safety, threats, severe hate speech, illegal activity)

  • Immediate permanent ban
  • Possible report to law enforcement or relevant authorities
  • No warnings and no appeal in the most serious cases

Creating new accounts to avoid bans is prohibited and can result in device or IP-level blocking where technically feasible.

Appeals

If you think a moderation decision about your account was a mistake:

  1. Email [email protected] with the subject line:
    Appeal: [Your Username]
  2. Include:
    • Your username
    • Date of the action
    • A brief explanation of why you believe the decision was incorrect
  3. Be factual and respectful

We aim to review appeals within 7 business days. Some bans (especially for child safety, severe harassment, or illegal activity) may not be reversible.
